Foggy Bottom Can’t Rebuild Home
Ever wonder what it would be like for FEMA to say you cannot rebuild your home after the flood? Well, look no further than the owners of Foggy Bottom Canoe. FEMA has reportedly told the Hutcherson family, the owners of Foggy Bottom, that they must build an 18 foot high platform for their house to sit on in order to keep living beside the river. The Hutcherson family has said they cannot afford to build such a platform, and plan to fight FEMA’s decision. Meanwhile, their Foggy Bottom Canoe business is back up and running.
