More Water Logged Earth News

News Channel 5 has a report of a Maury County road collapsing after a landslide. WSMV has a report of a sinkhole that has closed part of I-24, in Grundy County. Our site also posted an earlier article on mudslides reported in Davidson County. News outlets have warned that it will take our water logged earth/ground cover some time to dry out after all the rain that we have had. TDOT is reportedly very busy inspecting the roads in counties that have been declared disaster areas by the federal government. As soon as we find any news of the results of those inspections, we’ll share them here.
