If you are not up to date on a tetanus shot, and you are helping with the recovery effort, then now is the time to get a booster shot. Another really good tip is to always wear a mask when you are cleaning out a home. Mold loves this flood environment and will grow quite well…both on the surface where bleach can reach and deeper where bleach products have no effect. If you wear the less expensive disposable masks to clean, then be sure to throw those masks away at the end of the day, as they will no longer be effective.
