Race to the Top Plots Course

The “Race to the Top” money to be received by our county’s school system, approximately 608K, is reportedly going to be used over the next four years. STEM Academy will reportedly be high on the list of priorities. STEM (i.e., Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) will initially be for 7th and 8th graders, but will extend to high school students as the Academy develops. The school system will also reportedly revamp their website.
