Free Shots for 7th Graders

The Cheatham County Health Department is offering free immunization shots for all 7th graders. Please remember that new rules have taken effect regarding immunizations, requiring a tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap) vaccine. Students must also confirm chickenpox immunity through either having had the disease or showing proof of vaccination. New immunization certificates must be presented to the school system by October 1st.
The free immunizations will be given by appointment only, and the above link shows the contact information for the Health Department. These free shots will be given on August 31st and September 28th.
