Are You Prepared?

Are you prepared for the next emergency? That’s what the Department of Health wants us to be. September is “National Preparedness Month” and our state department of health wants to remind us all to be prepared in the case of an emergency. They have a list of supplies needed for an emergency kit such as:
- a three day supply of water and non perishable food
- all necessary medicines
- hygiene supplies
- a radio
- important family documents
- and first aid kits
Frankly, I think each family would add other essentials items to that list. For example, a nearly full gas tank would be helpful. Or photographs or photo albums.
