Fire Taxes
The final decision on a county wide fire tax will be decided by the county commission on Monday.
Update, 4/19, 7:30AM: The County Commission voted to approve a one year Fire Tax for the county. The I-24 Exchange has a really good article regarding why the town of Pleasant View opted out of the fire tax this year, challenging the county to actually come up with a comprehensive plan prior to voting on a fire tax.
