As many have heard, Stacy Brinkley is the new incoming principal at KSES. She is transferring from West Cheatham Elementary School, where she was a teacher. She has also graciously accepted to answer questions from the community. I’m sure that there are a few parents out there that have a few questions.

We’ll send over the top 10 questions that are submitted in the comments below. If you would like to ask a question, check the comments first. If it’s already been asked, vote it up. Otherwise just submit your question in a comment. Please separate your questions into individual comments. Be sure to tell your friends to submit questions and vote. Once we get the answers, we’ll publish them for everyone.

Congratulations to Principal Brinkley as she begins her new position.

After talking to several parents this year, will you have a policy in place to make sure all teachers are putting grades into Pearson in a timely manner? If so, what do you think it will be? I have heard from many parents that some grade levels had new grades placed every couple of days to some grade levels having the grades placed the night before progress reports and report cards. It’s a concern because parents want to help their children and not all papers sent home in their folders are counted toward grades. It’s then too late to help the students.
