Native American Remains Finally Making Their Way Home

The Native American Times is reporting that Native American remains, found in Cheatham County at Cheatham Lake, are finally making their way home. The remains were reportedly discovered in October 0f 2011, and now public notices have been posted to all tribes that could make a claim for the remains. If no other tribe makes a claim on the remains, then they will be finally given to the Chickasaw Nation on May 12, 2012.
