GROUND LEVEL OZONE CONCENTRATIONS WITHIN THE REGION MAY APPROACH OR EXCEED UNHEALTHY STANDARDS. THE GENERAL PUBLIC IS NOT LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED. This next week is due to be a very hot one indeed.  This weekend, our weather is due to be in the mid 90′s.  Then, our work week will grow to become even hotter, with a high of 99 degrees forecast for Friday.  As a reminder, here is a link to keeping your car in tip top shape during these hot summer days.  Also, here is a link to the CDC’s tips for keeping safe in hot weather, including tips for the elderly and the young, as well as recognizing signs of heat stroke and exhaustion.  And finally, please remember your pets.  Don’t leave pets outdoors during this very hot weather, never leave them (or children) in a car, and provide them with plenty of fresh, cool water.
