Please Note:  I had posted this information in another post, but wanted to make this a separate entry due to the really great information it provides via several links.

This next week is due to be a very hot one indeed.  This week will see our temperatures reach over 100 degrees by Friday.  As a reminder, here is a link to keeping your car in tip top shape during these hot summer days.  One tip in the previous link suggests to always carry a bottle of water in your car just in case you are stranded or in heavy traffic.  Also, here is a link to the CDC’s tips for keeping safe in hot weather, including tips for the elderly and the young, as well as recognizing signs of heat stroke and exhaustion.  And finally, please remember your pets.  Don’t leave pets outdoors during this very hot weather, never leave them (or children) in a car, and provide them with plenty of fresh, cool water.
