Local Kingston Springs resident and retired teacher from HHS, Laura Mallernee, has posted an editorial in the I-24 Exchange regarding the upcoming School Board election. Since this editorial directly relates to our community, I thought I’d re-post it here.

There’s a whole new breed of parental awareness and unrest emerging in this county. This will be a very different school year. I’m quite certain there are figureheads within the current school board scenario that aren’t quite prepared for some of the things they’re about to experience.
