We are reportedly due for a bit of stormy weather this evening and overnight.  We’re currently under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 3AM:

“SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ALONG THE OHIO RIVER AND MOVE INTO MIDDLE TENNESSEE THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT. SOME STORMS WILL BE STRONG TO SEVERE WITH HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY TO DAMAGING WINDS. SOME LOCALIZED FLOODING WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE WITH THE HEAVIER DOWNPOURS.”

As this storm progresses and any other watches/warnings are issued, we’ll post updates here.

Update, 7/19, 9:45PM:  We have a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for all of Cheatham County and have a storm cell headed our way with high winds.  This warning will end at 10PM.

Update, 7/19, 10PM:  The Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been extended until 10:30PM.  There is high wind, 70MPH, associated with this event.  Also, lots of lightning strikes.  Please stay safe and indoors.

Update, 7/19, 10:35PM:  The Severe Thunderstorm Warning has expired.  We are still under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 3AM.

Update, 7/20, 12AM:  All watches/warnings have expired.
