Webb Headed into “Perfect Storm”
According to News Channel 5, our former director of schools is heading into the “perfect storm” in Giles County. An audit has reportedly found that an accounting error has left the county with a 2M dollar shortfall. The result? Layoffs for teachers. Approximately 80 teachers and other staff have received their notices that they will not be back next year. Current staff are reportedly worried that this accounting error could lead to more job uncertainty.
If Dr. Webb was hoping that his new position as a principal in Giles County will be less stressful than the position he just left….well, he might want to rethink that theory.
