Ask Brian Chase
As many have heard, Brian Chase is the new school board member representing the 6th district in Cheatham County. He has also graciously accepted to answer questions from the community. I’m sure that there are a few parents out there that have a few questions.
We’ll send over the top 10 questions that are submitted in the comments below. If you would like to ask a question, check the comments first. If it’s already been asked, vote it up. Otherwise just submit your question in a comment. Please separate your questions into individual comments. Be sure to tell your friends to submit questions and vote. What made you decide to run for school board?
What do you think is the biggest challenge facing our schools right now and what is your plan to address it?
How will parents be involved in plans to improve public education in my community? Does the Board have committees on which parents and other members of the community can serve? If not, would you assistant in implementing such?

Would you support a board decision that you are not in favor of or one that a majority of your district 6 members voice opposition to? (broad question there)
As a new board member learning the job, what are your top 3-5 objectives going in? Also, would you be willing to revisit this question in six months to see if your top objectives have changes and why?
